Because a carnation can mean many things.

A nod to the Carnation Revolution: a flower turned into a symbol of change.

And also a symbol of our own revolution.

A silent revolution.
A revolution that starts with our feet.

Because questioning the status quo also means asking why we have learnt to hide, compress and restrict a part of our body that was born to be free.

A bud doesn't need to become something else to bloom.

It just needs space.

Our feet are no different.

When we stop compressing them, they can begin to recover their natural shape, space and freedom.
