Valencia Plaza: Castellon-based Brambas consolidates its growth: receives a loan from the IVF to bolster its project
Brambas, a start-up based in Castelló that specialises in the design and sale of sustainable barefoot footwear, has received an equity-linked loan from the Institut Valencià de Finances (IVF) to boost its growth. The transaction forms part of the financial instruments offered by the IVF and aims to mobilise European funds to support the development of innovative businesses.
The company, founded by Marta Almodóvar and Óscar Velasco and a participant in the CEEI Castellón’s Órbita Programme, exports to countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Belgium, with 75% of its sales coming from international markets. Its business model is based on creating trainers in line with each season’s trends, made from sustainable materials and always tailoring its supply to demand to minimise stock levels.
