Taking these factors into account, this has been our choice when designing the Calabria 165 model:
- Corn skin (outside)

- Organic cotton (laces)
The socks are made with organic cotton and have an antibacterial coating that helps prevent odour, promotes skin health and offers a longer durability of the product.

Where can I wear my Brambas?
Our shoes are designed to accompany your everyday life, whether for work or for your outdoor activities. Thanks to their lightness and flexibility, they are also ideal for travel, light hiking and city walks, as they provide comfort and freedom of movement. Moreover, thanks to their design, you can easily carry them in your backpack or suitcase, making them perfect for those who are looking for versatile and practical footwear for any occasion.
How does barefoot shoes affect posture and foot health?
Barefoot shoes encourage a more natural posture by allowing your feet to move as they are designed to move. This can help better align your body and strengthen your foot muscles, which is generally good for your health. Over time, you may notice an improvement in your posture and a reduction in discomfort.
Is it necessary an adaptation period when starting to wear Brambas?
If it is your first time wearing barefoot shoes, it is advisable to give your feet some time to adapt. Start by wearing them for short sessions and gradually increase the time. Your body will need a little adjustment, but you will soon feel great in them.
Can I use insoles with my Brambas?
At Brambas we have created 4mm insoles, designed for people who are new to barefoot footwear, as they allow them to take on the change in a more progressive and comfortable way.
For those who have already started in the barefoot world and are looking for the most natural sensations possible, we recommend removing the soles and experience the most direct contact with the ground.
So we have both options so that EVERYONE can wear Brambas easily, with or without an insole.
Our 4mm insoles are free and they are included with every pair of shoes.
Can I put my insoles in Brambas?
Of course you can. However, it is important to bear in mind that the insole can reduce the natural sensation of walking barefoot. Minimalist shoes aim to strengthen the musculature of the feet so that they can support themselves, while insoles, on the other hand, decrease the strain on the muscles. One option would be to use them for a transitional period and then gradually phase them out.
Can I wear socks with Brambas?
You can wear your Brambas with or without socks, whichever you prefer. At Brambas we have designed barefoot socks that have a respectful width and achieve a greater feeling of comfort. We encourage you to try them and combine them with your Calabria 165.
